Dick
Bucheit, President
Dick graduated in 1973 with a B.S. in Industrial Management. He started his Powdered Metal career as an engineering with a major tier one supplier in the powdered metal industry. After several years in engineering, he moved into production control and then into supervisory and management positions. During his 29 years of powder metal experience, Dick has focused his efforts on development and growth of quality powdered metal manufacturing. He has attended various seminars and short courses staying abreast with the latest technology and management techniques. Dick joined Metco Industries in 2002.
VP/CFO
Rodney Brennen
Beginning with an engineering background, Rodney has 12 years experience in powder metal related manufacturing. A native of St. Marys, he began his career as a CAD designer of sintering furnaces and related equipment. He joined the Metco team in 1994, and has served as Vice President/CFO since 1996. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Regents College of the University of New York. Rodney is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, Society of Mechanical Engineers, and presently serves as a director of APMI International in Princeton, New Jersey.
Sales
Manager Ken Schatz
While employed at an established powder metal facility as a quality technician, Ken completed his bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University. Ken then went on to accept the position of Quality Manager. He held this position for four years. In 1999, Ken joined the Metco team in the position of Sales Manager. His experience in quality as well as his education in engineering has provided Ken with the skills to serve Metco's customers base. Ken also oversees production. He is also a member of APMI.
Quality
/ Engineering Manager
After completion of a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Clarion University, Jim began his career in the powdered metal industry as a Sales Engineer in 1993. While working in this position, he began attending continuing education classes, specifically quality related. After working at this position for a year, Jim moved on to become a Quality Engineer for a tier one supplier. This position was very instrumental in enriching his knowledge of Quality Assurance. As a Quality Engineer, Jim continued his education by enrolling in the Material Engineer program at Penn State University. In 1995 he accepted the position of Quality Manager at Metco Industries, Inc. For the past several years, Jim has remained focused on developing the quality department at Metco and continuing his education through Penn State University, American Powder Metal Industry and Metal Powder Industry Federation as well as attending various seminars. Jim is also a member of American Powder Metal Industry (APMI).
